Since opening their first store in 1999 this mother and daughter team has grown from a 200 square foot shop to their current location in the historic cottages of "Old Hampstead", NC.  In 2001 they opened a second location on Bald Head Island, NC.

Joyce (mother) and Jill (daughter) attribute their success to the mixture of products they both love.  Joyce has always loved traditional "Williamsburg" designs while Jill loves anything that captures the essence of the beach.  They have gathered a mix of the two styles and offer a delightful selection of Nantucket traditional décor accessories, many of which are one-of-a-kind and vintage pieces.

The Silver Peddler is most well-known for their discriminating collection of sterling silver jewelry.  Joyce and Jill hand pick all of the classical originals and the rare, precious gemstone, "Larimar".  They have earned an impeccable reputation for offering the area's most extensive collection of unique, one-of-a-kind and designer sterling silver jewelry.  Because many of the pieces are limited this web site features only a  handful of our favorites.  To see a more complete selection visit us soon at one of our two locations.
